Objective:
As Dr. R. Kirk Belnap, Director of the National Middle East Language Resource Center at Brigham Young University (Visit:
NMELRC)
has stated; "Some students enrolled in Arabic classes can recite or read the Qur'an, but they cannot speak Arabic or understand what they are reading/reciting."
In other words, the students have learned to recite (the Arabic phrases) phonetically without actually understanding the meaning. Our website is designed to assist them to both enunciate Arabic (words and sentences) correctly and to understand the meaning. Our objective is to teach the recitation of the Holy Koran in Arabic according to the rules of Tajweed at no cost.
